Good Neighbour Awards and Snow Angel Recognition at 6:30 pm in City Hall

The Good Neighbour Awards recognize Edmontonians who make a difference in the lives of the people in their neighbourhood. It can be anything from helping an individual neighbour to motivating the neighbourhood to address a local issue or hosting a neighbourhood event. Good neighbours help build connections between people. That creates a sense of community and leads to safer neighbourhoods.

Snow Angels adopt the sidewalks of senior or persons with disabilities in winter and keep them clear of snow and ice. They watch for people in their neighbourhoods who could use help shovelling their sidewalks and driveways and ask if they can lend a hand.
